Pop-up books are a staple of childhood, but the entire medium received a sinister sheen following the release of Jennifer Kent’s The Babadook in 2014. If you missed that flick, it features a deceptively innocent pop-up book that’s actually a nightmare!
Now, artist Lindsay Ball-McQueen has imagined a series of pop-up books based on the scariest scenes in horror movies! The project was commission by Oldrids. The only thing I don’t like about these bad boys is that they aren’t real! Still, they make for a nice chuckle on a Friday afternoon.
